Please somebody make Danny Malone huge in 2011.
Look, I know nobody listens to me ever, but it’s about time (and has been for years) that somebody makes Danny Malone a household name. I may be extra biased because he lives in my town, but seriously this kid is a talent. As further proof, I offer two songs taken from a ‘demos and covers’ collection he personally sends anyone who asks for it via his myspace page. Yes, these are underproduced, likely recorded in his bedroom in one-take versions, but they shine all the same. I could throw every superlative at the wall and still mean them all. Songwriting skills like this are rare. Enjoy. And Happy 2011. Life is good.
