Bleeding Knees Club - “Have Fun”
The formula has become completely cliche (trace The White Stripes through to No Age and Wavves): Two people playing drums and guitar, bashing out lo-fi pop tunes. Sounds simple enough, right? As if. You trying writing this stuff. It’s nearly impossible to sound this effortless. So, while some may scoff at the ‘crappy production’ and ‘amateur musicianship’, all I hear is a PCH-cruisin’ summer anthem. Enjoy.
