Shimmering Stars - “Sabians”
No lie, this song has been stuck in my skull for the past five days and I love it. Reverbed out bedroom-pop courtesy of some guy in British Columbia who doesn’t give us much more information than that his influences are “The Everly Brothers, Del Shannon, anti-socialness, Bo Diddley, and anxiety issues” (here). The subtle little melodic/harmonic twists here are awesome. I’m really falling for this recent late 50s / early 60s + massive reverb scene. Enjoy.
